Ironhawk SG Series Curb Guards
Ironhawk’s SG126XXXLR/LL curb guards were designed to protect and prevent premature wear of articulating cutting edges such as the Lake Effect and Joma articulating blades.
Features include:
- The tapered design of the guard helps to guide articulating blades over expansion joints, which minimizes the incidents of blade segments getting caught and ripped off
- Constructed of 3/4” thick heavy-duty structural steel
- Uses Ironhawk's patented curb runner that uses a combination of carbide impreg and tungsten carbide dowels.
- These come standard with our Lake Effect blade systems
We recommend using Ironhawk grade 8 hardware for installation.
The SG series is optimized for articulating blades with a tapered front profile to permit these blades to ride over expansion joints.
